Dr. Y. S. Tosun

 Dr. Y.S. Tosun was a Professor and a member of the faculty of the dental department of orthodontics at the University of Aegea. He completed his dental training at the University of Istanbul in 1984 and is a graduate of the orthodontic program at the University of Aegea, Izmir, Turkey in 1989. He has been clinical consultant on "fixed orthodontics" of the department of orthodontics for 11 years and a member of the council of education of the faculty.

Dr. Tosun has published several articles in both national and international journals. He has spoken extensively in Turkey and abroad on "Biomechanical Principles of Fixed Orthodontic Appliances" and "Orthodontics in General Dentistry". Dr. Tosun has also been working on "Adult Orthodontics", "Invisible Braces (Lingual Orthodontics)" for and particularly on "Early Orthodontic Treatment" (treatment of 7 - 8 years old patients). His hobbies are photography, wind surfing, sailing, tennis and volley ball. Dr. Tosun is married with three children.
