At present, the staff is comprised of eight dentists, providing general dentistry, periodontics (gum treatment), endodontics (root canal therapy), orthodontics (braces), cosmetic treatments including porcelain veneers and implants

Anna Hughes (nee Shalhoub) graduated from King's College University of London, U.K. in 1990. Over the next nine years she worked in various teaching hospitals (The Royal London, King's College Hospital and Cardiff, Wales) as well as private practice. She obtained her MSC in periodontology from Bristol in 1994 and her fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 1997. She worked as a part time lecturer at Guys Hospital and as a periodontist in private practice in London just prior to moving to the Emirates.
She is approved as a specialist Periodontist and registered as such with the U.K. General Dental Council.
Dr. Anna attends numerous courses each year both on general dentistry and specialist meetings, on periodontology around the world. She is also a certified Implantologist, licensed in the UAE. Dr Anna places STRAUMANN swiss implants.
